SIP Calls through VIVAZ?

I have purchased my Sony Ericsson Vivaz but I am fan of NOKIA E series mobile. I have made SIP VOIP configuration services on my mobile. After making this my mobile phone is showing me registered but I am not able to do that. When I was using Nokia E series mobile and made SIP VOIP setting it worked fine. I also unable to make and receive calls on my mobile. I saw on Nokia, when we dial for call you will see in options “internet call” and when we select that call go through internet. But in Vivaz you will not see this option. Does anyone know how to handle this situation? Please give me suggestion.

I am seeing this question on lots of thread websites and there is no response from Sony Ericsson yet. I think so they want to hide this because they have not developed it yet. I bought c905 and it came with SIP function. I think so you have to install some other application which will help you to make call or make some inbuilt settings. I hope it will solve your problem. I think so it is Sony Ericsson mistake for those people who wants to use SIP call in sony ericsson mobile.

Hi friend! I am also suffering with SIP call issue with Sony Ericsson mobile. I have seen some other Sony Mobile and there also you will find same fault. I do not know why Sony Ericsson is not giving attention to this problem. They should launch some inbuilt software application which will support SIP calls. I am watching Sony website from long time but still there is no reply for this problem.

Go in your settings then in connectivity and SIP settings. If you find these kinds of settings or some similar settings there then you have to locate accurate SIP settings from the SIP services. I do not believe that you can access your SIP settings from some other software like Skype or like fring software. I have not tried Skype to Skype calls yet on my mobile. Is skype is supporting on your mobile? If it working then please tell me how they are working.
