When i send mail to multiple people there e-mail address is visible to other people. Does there is any way to hide the e-mail address of one person so that he will be unable to see the e-mail address of other people. Can any one tell me how i can achieve this. thanks a lot in advance for your valuable information.
Try the following trick to hide the address of recipient.
1)In compose window select view->contacts sidebar. Right click on address and select Add to Bcc.
2)you can change the To: field to Bcc: before you add the address with the dropdown. You can use(Windows: Shift+click)
3)use the Add to Bcc bottom to the bottom of contact sidebar.
Use it to hide the address, hope this will help you.
Hi i am using Thunderbird and i am having address list containing 1000 customer. i want to send same e-mail address to all 1000 people, but i want that every customer in add list see his own add. He should not be able to see others add. I am having my own bussiness, and i really want to know if this is possible. if any one have knowledge please tell me.
Are you talking about mail merge. This feature is not available in Thunderbird. Even i wanted to merge my mails. I heard that it can be done with openoffice with Thunderbird Address book. But i have not yet tried this. Is there is any extention we can use it to merge the mail. Or we can merge mail in outlook express.
Just follow this to send to multiple people by hiding the recipient address. First create a new Account in your address book with the following details Firstname=undisclosed and Lastname=recipient and e-mail add=your own. Now when ever you wish to send e-mail without showing the list then send using undisclosed recipient. This will hide the e-mail address from the recipient. have a nice day.
