Windows 7 Freezes when Resumed from Idle due to Screen Blanking
I have 7 Windows Home Premium 32bit installed alongside Windows XP, including SP3 and have the phenomenon that the screen just freezes, not even a blue screen with error message. Even after reinstalling no improvement. Surprisingly, various stress tests often ran without problems (Prime95, HD Tune, Furmark, only on the burn-in test of SiSoft Sandra came a crash), and I can not reproduce when the crash comes. Sometimes in Firefox when I open the Media Center, with Open Office, or just when I move the mouse ?.

I think the problem is due to the NIC as before, where I work, there was no internet and the laptop worked just fine without a freezer, now what the internet and therefore that the laptop uses the card network, it freezes. One thing I find strange is How can a simple compatibility problem between my network card and the OS is to freeze all the PC.

I also worry that as soon as I threw an application of the type firefox / IE8, or MSN, the PC is to freeze, nothing to do I could do that by cutting off the power. I spent two days searching on some forums, then I tried to do with the means at hand (indeed, I also think it is a fundamental problem of Windows 7). However, I managed to solve the problem.

If you have those problems with software blocks are: BIOS, and drivers in the first place, then outline how AV programs etc. For drivers, the suggestion is wary of the drivers provided by manufacturers (not enough to have "the last") and try the generic drivers for Win7. 99% always work better while producers are often buggy and not tested properly.
