i am the laptop user of dell 1558, it consists 90 slim power adaptor, it recently facing the major problem with the adaptor,it is concerned with the heating up of the adaptor very soon in such a way that is not able to touch,the labels which are applied behind has even worn out due to the heat,so please any try to help me to sort out the heating issue.
The problem for you about the heating up of the power adaptor, may be just due to reason for you are playing the games on it, just because games such as ps3 leads to the temperatures to increase,this directly effects the ati gpu's which are available in this kind of laptops,just try to shut down your laptop as it gets heaten up.
The dell laptop of 1558 which you use leads your power adaptor heated up,so i may like to recommend you that since the adaptor which is available in your laptop might be tried to plug it out and plug it in ones,so i may even recommend you to replace the adaptor from the dell so as it might provide you some better results.
The heating problem which has led you frustrated for your dell laptop 1558, i may like to recommend you using the 130w adaptor,which you may upgrade it for the vista after once it is reinstalled,the main issue is when you try to plug in the adaptor, but i would like to recommend you to use the battery power so that the heating problem may be solved.
The problem which you are facing in your laptop is the similar kind of the problems of mine,here i unable to fetch the problem why my laptop adaptor gets heated up, i even tried to contact the dell to change the adaptor but they did not provide me any help,so right now i am using my laptop battery power, so now please any one help me solve this problem.
