I am having the Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q880 which supports the 5.1 surround sound system. So i have purchased a 5.1 surround sound system to work with the same but the problem is not that the system is not having the port for the same. As the surround system is having the 3 input but the Toshiba only having only 1 input. Is there any way to work with the same. Thank you.
It is true that the Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q880 supports the 5.1 surround system for the audio but i think you have not read the review of it properly. Actually it supports the 5.1 surround sound with the USB input. One which you have bought will not work with this device. It is better to replace the same and buy USB input system.
If you have bought the surround system with the pin input and not getting this working with the system of yours then i will advise you to have the Toshiba Docking Station which will enable you to use then Pin input into the system and work with the issue of yours. Toshiba Docking Station is having the jack to connect the 3 pin of surround system.
There is something which can help you with the issue of yours. To work with the issue of yours you have to buy Toslink cable to allow for optical audio sound with the system of yours. This will enable you to connect your 5.1 surround sound with the system of yours. So if you can then go through the same and get rid of the problem you are facing.
You can also replace the existing surround system and buy then one which is having the compatibility with the Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q880 and support the USB input for the same. I will advise you to buy the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 - sound card which is having the ability to connect the your 5.1 sound system with the system.
I think it is better to visit the Toshiba store and ask them for something which will make the system and device of yours to work together. I think that as they are the developer they might having some of the solution for the same. So contact them and see whether you are getting any help from them or not.
First of all thanks for the help that you have given me regarding the issue of mine. I have gone through the detail and let me tell you that the device of mine is not started working with the 5.1 Surround sound system with the help of the Toslink cable which i have attached to device of mine and stated working with the same.Quote:
