Re: Plugged in not charging Acer 5738ZG
My old battery was fully charged only 15-20 minutes, so I ordered the day a new (and 14.8 V, 4800 mAh, however, instead of 5200). Yesterday came the piece to be and I have it loaded in accordance with the instructions first 10 hours long. Then turned on laptop: battery was at 64%. Have then kept on the power supply and let the battery become empty. This morning, two hours in the off state and load can be connected (so I thought at least). Then power supply disconnected and pushed start button - no response! So power supply re-connected and started. Now, stand by me also remain "4% (AC power, not charging)".

Re: Plugged in not charging Acer 5738ZG
There has been recommended when the battery does not need a long time, store it in a cargo capacity of about 50-80% outside of the notebook. About once a month, you should increase the charge state kontrolliereun un necessary. If needed, the battery just before he was again fully charged.
I have an IBM notebook. In the reference material is that they recommend once a month to drain the battery completely (less than 3%) to get the performance.
