Re: Windows Xp Cannot detect my USB Flash Drive
There can be a problem in your USB pen drive.it might happen that the pen drive you have is corrupted and it is not working properly. So first check your pen drive by plugging it into another computer if it does not work then go to your dealer for a replacement.if it is working properly then there must be a virus in your system which does not allow the USB to enter into the system. So check it and scan for viruses.
Re: Windows Xp Cannot detect my USB Flash Drive
The USB port most of the time does not work due to the virus attack on it.Nowadays most of the viruses does not allow the USB devices to plug in. To resolve these problem you have to scan your system with an anti virus which can scan as well as heal the corrupted supporting files. There are a number of the anti viruses in the market which can be used for these issue such as AVG, Avast, Norton, Which are effective enough to solve your problem.

Re: Windows Xp Cannot detect my USB Flash Drive
The USB port many time do not work due to the corrupted software of the drive, the most recommended method for these is that you first install the original chipset drivers from the manufacturer company such as Intel/Gateway. Then you should delete the USB stuff in the Drive Manager, after that reboot and let the XP install new drivers. There are chances that BIOS setting for the USB is not properly done on your system such as allocating an IRQ that may help to a great extent.try all these if then too the problem exist in your system then contact the customer care assistance for help of the system company.
