I have recently upgraded to the Windows 7 and now having the problem with the same. Actually when i am getting into the Windows 7 Media Center to see its feature i found that the Internet TV is not available in the same which i was getting into the Windows Vista. I don't know if there is any other method to perform the same. Thanks in advance.
I think that you have not properly upgraded to the Windows 7 as i have checked into my system and found that this is working fine with the media center. How did you upgraded to the Windows 7? I will advise you to again run the Windows 7 upgrade and see whether it is working or not. So try this out to work with the same.
I think there might be some of the file missing in the system of yours that is why you are not getting the Internet TV with the media center. I will advise you to go through the below given step that will help you for same.
- Click on Start
- Go to Settings
- Click on General
- Select Automatic Download Options
- Make sure that automatically download media center data is checked
- You can also click on Download button to download.
I have gone through the same that you are talking about and after lots of effort i found some of the solution which worked for me and i am hoping that this will also work for you to. Just go through the same.
- Open Windows Media Center
- Go to Tasks and click on Settings
- Click on General
- Click on Windows Media Center Setup
- Click on Run Setup Again
If nothing is working for you then i will advise you to contact the Microsoft regarding the issue and see whether it is working for you. Microsoft is also running a support forum which is developed to work with the problem of the user. So if you can then contact Microsoft regarding the issue and get the solution.
I think that there might be some corrupt installation of the Windows 7 that is why you are getting this kind of some functionality missing. I will advise you to install the Windows 7 again and see whether it is working for you or not. The reinstallation will correct the problem that you are getting with the same. Thanks
