Windows Media Player 12 “Server Execution Failed" Error on Windows 7
I have purchased a new PC (Intel I7 Core) that came with Win 7 Pro 64 bit preinstalled, and I am facing a difficulty on WMP 12. The player begins and run correctly at initial time, however if I shut the player and quickly double click on an another file (video, audio, doesn't matter) the WMP will not start and after a minute it popups an error: "Server Execution Failed". If I wait 2 seconds or more then WMP 12 works fine. Can anyone tell me how do I solve this problem? Thanks

I would recommend you to follow the below steps and see if that helps:
- Firstly you have to click on Start button and then type services.msc in the search box.
- After that scroll down to Windows Media Player Network sharing service.
- Then do a Right click on the service and choose restart.
- Now you have reboot your PC and try to play any file again and see if that works.

If the above doesnt work then follow these methods. Right click on My Computer and and select Manage. After that go to System Tools and double click Local Users and Groups. After that click on Groups and then right click to choose Administrators. Now click Add to Group and then click on Add and after that select Advanced. After that click on Find now and then double click Local Service and click ok. A list will open with NT Authority\Local Service displayed on the screen. Just click ok and then close Computer management and restart your system.
