I am trying to install this Blackberry Theme Studio 5.0 more than three times, whatever I am trying to do it is hanging up during the installation process at BlackBerry AlphaSans.ttf. Already more than five hours are passed but I am not able to install this Blackberry Theme Studio 5.0. Any help for installing this New Blackberry Theme Studio 5.0 will be appreciated.
I am also having similar problem I have also tried to solve the problem by rebooting it, but still I am facing this problem. I have downloaded the software without any problem but I do not know why I am facing the problem at the time of installation of this software. This software is hanging up at the time of installation at BBAlphaSans.ttf. Currently I am running window Vista on my computer system.
I am having the same issue that is problem of installation; it is hanging up at the time of installing BBAlphaSans.ttf. I have also tried to this for second time after rebooting the system and also closing all the friendly application that starts at the time of startup. But unfortunately, l am getting the same bad result. I am using windows XP professional service pack 3 and it is 32 bit version.
I have disconnected the network connection, and also removed the antivirus software that I am using and also terminated the McciBrowser.exe process. I think that it have appeared with the things that I have recently installed on my system. I have also disabled the HughesNet tools that I was using. After that I tried to install it and it installed perfectly. One more thing that you must note at the time of installation is that you must scan the RIM programs files and folders.
I have also tried to do the same thing that you have done, disabled the antivirus software that I was using and also disconnected the network. Not only that I have opened the process explorer and killed all the antivirus process that was running on the system. I have seen the RIM auto updates that was running and I have also stopped that and then tried to install it but I am getting the error, and displaying the message that uninstall the USB drivers for that and for any cost I cannot do that.
I have got the solution for this problem by creation the duplicate copy of the fonts by going to Starts and then go to Run and then type c:\windows\fonts and drag the font that installer is stopping on the desktop. After that you need to uninstall it and then right click on the fonts window and then install the Theme Builder 5.0 and then right click on the every font files and then install it one by one.
I am using windows 7 and at the time of installing theme studio, it just freezed during the installation process and the displayed a message that it has discovered the latest version of BBSans.tif in Windows, click on yes if you want to replace this with older version. At that time I have selected no and completed the installation. Now it is working fine. I am sure that this is problem is solved in windows 7.
