My friend has a E-Machine T2862 desktop and the problem is that it is not powering up well. We have no idea why it did happened as it was working fine but suddenly the system crashed and it did not start by then. No power supply fan is working. Just unaware of the thing. What should we do. Please help us and give a solution through which we can make the changes as needed.
The problem seems to be with the motherboard. Do check out for the thing. You need to test your motherboard as it may not be getting the power supply well. The board may be worn out due to some factor. Could be that earthing was not well and hence the motherboard may be worned due to excessive volt passed. So check out for the motherboard first and then get to conclusion.
Replace the Power Supply unit and then check out for the issue. The possibility seems that the power supply unit is not proper and hence you are not able to to work well with the system. As the Power supply fan is not working this means that either the power is not supplied properly or the SMPS is not fine. So change the same and then look out for the conclusion. It may solve.
It would be better that you connect the device well that is there is a possibility that the power cord may be damaged and it would not be proper to function. So in order to function and make the essential aspects to be worked well it is necessary that you do check for the thing by changing the Power cord and installing it well. It may then allow the system to respond and get it work as required. So do check out.
It could be that some capacitors may have been damages and this is the reason you are not able to work well with the thing. So in order to perform or work well for the same it is essential that you do check out for the same and then get it functioned as needed. All you need to do is to check out with other motherboard.
