Re: TomTom RDS-TMC cannot connect radio station
Timing is sometimes very difficult to obtain, must be very good reception conditions for the "fix" radio. The traffic information provided by ViaMichelin have from time to time a "subway late! In all cases, a latency of 15-30 minutes will be observed before your TomTom GPS is notified of congestion, accidents. This latency depends on the receipt of information => Treatment => and redistribution to customers. Do not expect to be advised of closures in the province! Indeed, only the major cities and very large roads are equipped with pavement sensors, cameras. In the provinces, you will be notified of the works and road closures planned in advance.
Re: TomTom RDS-TMC cannot connect radio station
Please note that TMC information is transmitted by conventional radio waves. The source of the RDS-TMC traffic information, radio stations and organizations responsible for signal transmission, vary by country or area in which this service is available. In addition, the radio signal strength is transmitted locally can vary greatly depending on the proximity of the FM transmitter relays and power transmission. :thumbup1:

Please also verify that the RDS-TMC antenna is firmly fixed to the support car (docking). Menu RDS-TMC (Traffic tap the bar on the right side of the screen) or TomTom Traffic menu, check that the application is looking for stations. Verify that the application is looking for radio stations and radio. If research, this indicates that the receiver works, however, it can not stop on a radio frequency used. It is therefore important to correctly position the receiver. The receiver cable must be taut since the cable itself works as an office and receives the signal RDS-TMC.
Re: TomTom RDS-TMC cannot connect radio station
It is depending on the model of receiver you use, there are several options. For the first versions of Bluetooth GPS receivers, you can use the external antenna connector MC. For all other GPS receivers (the new wired and Bluetooth GPS receivers), you can use the external antenna Universal AR-45.
Re: TomTom RDS-TMC cannot connect radio station
If your receiver still receives no signal, please reinstall the latest version of the application, version 6524 through TomTom Home. If your receiver has no signal, even outside of your vehicle, please let us know and the date you purchased the TomTom ONE XL and we will create a trouble ticket for your car antenna and support to test them and replace them if necessary.
