Previously I was having Logitech harmony 880, and recently I am using Logitech harmony 1000. My Logitech remote has completed nearly a year and now the circular button actuator that is in the down button is not working. I have also called to customer care but they replied that they cannot do anything related to it. Now I am thinking that it would be better if I have bought Harmony 900, hence I need Comparison between Harmony 900 and Harmony 1100.
I just want to know that paying extra money for Logitech Harmony 1100 is worth over Logitech Harmony 900? The negative factor for me is that Logitech Harmony 1000 is bothering me a lot. Because I have to be very careful while pushing the buttons and sometime I have to push it more than one time for registering it.

It controls the devices through infrared or radio frequency extra charge; including rechargeable battery and docking stations, network functioning, as well as with Windows and Macintosh computer compatible with simple, intuitive software wizard; cheaper than similar flat pattern; faster response time and improve the operation compared to Logitech harmony 1000.
Expensive, especially taking into account the additional cost of the RF module; screen drains the battery quickly when it is not left at the toll station, there is no simple way to use more than one space; lack of design and programming flexibility (you are not allowed to design your own button, or the desired screen layouts, or more than one program), many high-end remote control provided, the establishment of more than five or six components of the system may be very difficult.
The form factor of this Logitech Harmony 1100 is very attractive, which coincided with the A / V equipment. I really like Logitech has taken the simple approach, including extensive use of some physical functions for the buttons, can change channels and volume control. Touch screen is truly neat, to provide adequate equipment for all programming functionality.
I would not recommend this product if you are searching for controlling 6 to 7 devices in room. I will suggest you not to go for this, because you can save you money by getting something simpler. I strongly recommend this remote if you need to control the lighting and color of a dining room, entertainment theater systems and lighting, this is really complicated remote control.
I spent a lot of time in programming these commands I think it is necessary for each activity, one can only see their functioning, they plunge out and return freely. Technical support is giving the answer that they are having the idea related to the problem, is working to resolve the issue. They then e-mail response automation systems said they would consider to solve, but the problem is not resolved till now.
