Samsung s3100 bluetooth problem

Please help in solving this small issue which I am facing with the my Samsung S3100 Croy phone. I have never made an extensive use of bluetooth feature of my phone. Recently I bought a Ford card which has audio player which supports bluetooth connectivity. I tried to connect the phone to the Ford Audio system, the phone connects to the Audio system but disconnects frequently. I cannot figure out if the problem is with the bluetooth of the phone or with the Audio system and hence need your help. So if anybody knows how to solve the Samsung s3100 bluetooth problems then please share some information. Thanks in advance.

For the phone to work properly, the firmware of the phone should work properly. If the firmware of the phone is having some problems then certain features of the phone will not work properly. This happens if the firmware of the phone gets stuck while executing certain commands or applications. It is better if you get the phone checked by the Service center technician and see if there are any problems with the phone itself.

I think the model of the phone is not supported by the Audio system installed in the ford car. When there exists a incompatibility issue between two devices, such problems will arise certainly. The list of all the compatible phones will be available on the official website of the ford. Check the model of the phones supported by the model of the car which you are using and then see if the phone is supported or not.

Some bluetooth devices are not able to function properly unless they are paired with the other communicating device. Hence try and pair the phone with the audio system of the car. After pairing the two devices, connect the phone to the audio devices and see if the phone still disconnects from the audio system frequently or not. Hopefully after pairing the phone will not disconnect from the Audio system frequently.

As suggested, I visited the official website of Ford audio systems and checked the list of all the models of the phone which are compatible. The list does not include the model of the phone which I am using and hence I think the disconnection is occuring, so I want to know if there is any alternative solution to this problem or not?

I am afraid but there is no alternate solution for connecting the phone to the Audio system of your car. The only solution which I can see is to buy a new phone which is compatible to the audio system which you are using. Before buying a new phone, check the list of all the compatible phones with the Audio system.
