Re: iMovie/iDVD Chapter Issue
You can add chapter markers to movies for your iDVD project. To set chapter markers in a movie: Select one or more movies in your project. Choose Advanced> Create chapter markers for the film. Type a number of minutes or click the arrows pointing upwards and downwards to indicate the frequency of chapter markers in the film. Click OK.
Re: iMovie/iDVD Chapter Issue
Adding an iMovie chapter markers including to use chapter markers from iMovie settled into your iDVD project, you can add the movie to iDVD iMovie using export capabilities integrated with iMovie and iMovie HD. You can also use the Media pane in iDVD iMovie to add movies with chapter markers. If you share an iMovie project as a QuickTime movie with the High Quality option, iMovie HD does not chapter markers in the sequence.
Re: iMovie/iDVD Chapter Issue
Open the movie in iMovie HD. Choose Share> iDVD, and then click Share. In iDVD, click Multimedia, click sequences. Drag your iMovie in the Media pane to the background of the menu. Click the Add button and select Add a movie. Then drag the movie from the Media pane to the button. iDVD is designed to automatically create a menu selection of scenes for movies that have chapter markers.
Re: iMovie/iDVD Chapter Issue
When you send a movie with chapter markers from iMovie HD or other video editing application, iDVD will automatically create a menu selection. You can change this preference does not automatically create scene selection menu, or order for iDVD to ask on a case by case. To set preferences for chapter markers: Choose iDVD> Preferences, Click on Movies and Select one of the options for importing movies.
Re: iMovie/iDVD Chapter Issue
I used the menu /advanced / create chapter marker for this movie, and then there is a button to meter length of the chapter that we want. according to the Manual iDVD 08, then: "You must first create chapter markers to your movie, which automatically generates a menu scene selection. For more information, check out" Chapter Markers "in iDVD Help.
Re: iMovie/iDVD Chapter Issue
You need to go to preferences for movies. The first three button changes to sub-menus with chapter markers. "IDVD 7"recognizes the fact chapter markers set in editing software video (eg IMovie 7 ", "Final Cut Pro or "Final Cut Express) and can create menus with scenes of these markers. You can define up to 36 chapter markers in your video editing software (Any movie with more than 36 markers cannot be imported in "IDVD 7"). You have three options for creating sub-menus. create sub-menus, do not create or always ask. By default, a sub-menu of scenes is always created when you import a movie with chapter markers. Check "Always ask " pending whether or not you are interested or not this function.
