Can't add words to Microsoft Word

I need your help to sort out my Microsoft word 2007 issue. I am getting very strange issue with my Microsoft word. The actual problem is that I am not able to add any new word to microsoft word dictionary. To the option to add new word is disabled from the word. I am totally frustrated because of this word 2007 issue. Please help me to resolve this problem.

According to me there may be some serious problem in your Microsoft word 2007. It also happened that you have not properly installed Microsoft office 2007 on your computer system and that causing this problem. And only because of that you are not able to add any word to the Microsoft Word. SO try o reinstall this Microsoft office 2007.

I am also suffering from the same microsoft Word issue. I have tried many solution to resolve this, but nothing was helpful. As mentioned in the above suggestion I also reinstalled my Microsoft office, but there is not difference in the problem. If you posses solution other than this, then share it me.

Please try following steps to resolve your issue:

1. Move the Custom.dic file from the UProof.
2. Use the Detect and Repair, perhaps this will create a new Custom.dic. If not, you can try the installation again to add the Proofing Tools or create a new Custom.dic manually.
3. Test the new Custom.dic to see if you can add words. If so, open the old Custom.dic with Notepad, select all the contents and copy and paste in the new Custom.dic.

It sounds that your computer might having virus infection and that causing problem to your Microsoft Word. If you want to resolve this issue, for that you need to install updated antivirus on your computer and then do the completed scan to remove all virus occurrences. And then check if your still getting same problem or not.

Please try with following solutions:

• Configure the setting of your Microsoft Word.
• Reinstall your Microsoft office.
• If above doesn't helpful, then reinstall your OS.

Thanks friends for all above your suggestions. As per above replies I first downloaded the latest iTunes and then installed it on my computer system. Now I don't get any issue while adding or to dragging any file into the iTunes. I am really appreciating all your above suggestions.

Then, just for good measure, buy a new computer and make sure to install virgin hard disks. Then repeat all the above steps in reverse. But in any case, it can't be the fault of Microsoft's software.
