No sound from TV tuner

HI i've bought Pixel view Pro TV 4 tuner card. I'm using Dish TV STB to connect the card. I've got a S-video to TV in (yellow color) jack where i've connected the TV out from STB. There are to more ports in STB - Audio R (red) and audio L (white) but i'm not able to connect these to tuner card as there is no port there. In tuner card there is one audio port (not sure in or out) but that is 3.5mm standard female port. Hence i'm not getting any sound.

Can any one help me regarding this issue? Many thanks in advance. I have on board Realtek sound card and using creative 2.1 sound box.

You have to make sure that you have enabled the line-in for recording in volume control which is located under the options then properties area and also check that whether it is not muted or set to no volume at all. Apart from this, you will need a stereo audio cable to 3.5mm adapter which would go into the stereo headphone like a jack behind the card and also the 2 different stereo speaker connectors into the STB's audio out.

Normally you must connect the card below the last PCI slot on the left bottom of the motherboard. First disconnect your tuner card, and you will find the sound on the HP. This card must be connected to the motherboard because the sound is an integrated chipset. Contact name and exact model of the motherboard to determine where it connects.
