The problem is that I am not able to install Windows 7 operating system. I have the Raid drivers on USB stick and when installing Windows it asks for drivers. It starts searching and then stops. It do not find any hardware. Please help me out. have no idea what could be done. It would be a great help. Thank you.
Re: Windows 7 ICH9R RAID driver problems
I do not think you need to have any drivers. The drivers are actually needed to use up or install under system that is Windows Xp. Windows 7 has inbuilt drivers and there should not be any issue with the same. I hope the utility disc you are using may not be proper or may be missing out with some issue. I hope the system files is been missing. So check out.
Re: Windows 7 ICH9R RAID driver problems
You need to create a raid volume in the ICH9R BIOS. This will then allow you to get the issue to be sorted and make the device to be detected. The driver installation is not essential as it searches by its own. So do look for the thing and make the proper ailments to be fulfilled and supported. Do check and work out well for the same. i hope you may work out for the same well.
Re: Windows 7 ICH9R RAID driver problems
I guess you may need to check out for the manufacturer of the motherboard that you use. they will integrate or provide the necessary drivers that is need to get support well with the controller that you need to perform using the same. So work out and get the drivers or flash the motherboard with the latest update. This may help.
Re: Windows 7 ICH9R RAID driver problems
The problem is well being related to the operating system disc. I hope this will help you out well and sort the thing accordingly. The utility disc may be short off some system files or been corrupt. So you need to use some other disc and get the system to be installed accordingly. So check for the same. This will help.
