Help with 2D animation, please
Hello,
I am novice in the field of animation. I want to know more about the animation, so thought that you guys would be useful.!! So, please provide some detailed information about the 2D animation as soon as possible.!! Also, is there any good quality 2D animation program, which should be available for free.
Re: Help with 2D animation, please
The animation is to give the illusion of movement by using a sequence of images. These images can be drawn, painted, photographed, digital etc. Whatever the techniques used, the principle remains the same the movement is broken down into a series of still images whose vision at a given frequency gives the illusion of continuous movement. For simple shapes, 2 fps is obviously not enough for smooth animation, but such a frequency, due to artistic effects, may be regarded as the animation, considering the general context of the work.
Re: Help with 2D animation, please
Two aspects are important in animation :
- Image by image: it must represent each phase of the movement performed and recorded frame by frame, regardless of the chosen representation system, whatever the means used to acquire, regardless of the length of visual restitution process of the animation.
- Rate of return: the images are rendered on a regular schedule sufficient for the brain and the phenomena of inertia within the vision, the persistence of vision , play their roles in the illusion. In cinema the minimum frequency was set at 12 frames per second. But to avoid an unpleasant flicker frequency of 16 frames per second was imposed as a minimum.

Section 2D preparing for careers in two-dimensional animation, videography (compositing, videos, advertising), the FX animation and special effects. Whereas the Section 3D animation preparing for careers in three-dimensional animation (characters, settings, etc..), Execution (script, directing, storyboard) and modeling (3D objects and spaces). If all you're looking for is something to composite your images into an animation than any compositing package will do. Heck, anything that renders animations and accepts sequenced images will do (like Quicktime Pro).
Re: Help with 2D animation, please
The following are some list of animation software (but they are not free), which is described with description :
- Cinepaint - matte painting, compositing, HDRI gif video cinema onion-skin.
- Frameworks - video capture with onion skin (directed stop motion).
- mvComicsMaker - Vector and bitmap animation.
- ganim8 - gif animation video
- Magpie - lipsync (setting timecode to sync lyrics)
- Animo - Digital 2D traditional animation
Re: Help with 2D animation, please
The animation is a technique developed from pictures drawn, computer generated images or photographs that are mounted in a logical sequence to an impression of activity and movement. To save images (often when they were drawn manually), it is possible to duplicate each image. Saccade is noticeable or not by the content of the image, the difference between two images in sequence. The animated graphic is part of the creative process of making graphics move the various objects created during the step of modeling 3D or the design in classic animation.
