Setup cannot remove the older version of Microsoft Office Pro 2010
I’m having a Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit laptop that was running with Office 2007 32bit. Yesterday I downloaded Office Pro 2010 32bit and thought to upgrade my office. I ran the setup and choose upgrade from the menu so that it will remove earlier version and install Office 2010. But there seems to be some problem, seems like the installation wizard is unable to remove office 2007 and hence unable to install 2010. When I tried removing the same manually, it wont me to do that from control panel as well. Can anyone please suggest me some fix here ?

I there would be some conflict between registry keys that is prevent to remove 2007 and installing 2010. Well what I can suggest you at this moment is to check out this KB Article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928218/en-us and follow the various steps provided for uninstallation process. That could surely help you.
