VGA to YPbPr or HDMI question
I am having an Sanyo HT32774 that is CRT HDTV. The TV is only having the HDMI and not the VGA. I wanted to connect my HP ZV6000 with my TV. But due to absence of the VGA i am unable to connect the same with the laptop of mine. So is it possible to use the VGA to YPbPr cable on the TV. If possible then give me the proper reply so that i can VGA to YPbPr or HDMI question. Thanks in advance.
Re: VGA to YPbPr or HDMI question
As per my knowledge this is not possible for the VGA Cable to connect through the same as most of it is not allowing the the connection between the computer YPrPb to connect through the video card until and unless the video card support for the same. So in your case i don't think that your card will support the same.
Re: VGA to YPbPr or HDMI question
The signal which is generated by the VGA is known as the RGBHV and the component signal are known as the Y, Pr, Pb which is generated by the YPbPr. And the RGBHV is carrying then RED, GREEN and BLUE on then horizontal sync and vertical sync with the all the lines. And the Y, Pr, Pb carries the Red Blue on separate line and combine them on sync so it is not possible that transmit both of them together.
Re: VGA to YPbPr or HDMI question
Hey thanks for the instant reply that you have given me regarding the issue that i have asked about and i have gone through the same but having more query and i think you will reply to the same. Is there any support for the ATI Mobility x200M to YPrPb out is available so that i can connect through that method as my laptop is having the ATI Mobility x200M.
Re: VGA to YPbPr or HDMI question
ATI are running with their own component VGA adapter. And according your query let me tell you that there are some old card which is having the compatibility with the same but right now this is not possible. So i think they are not more available so that you can use the same. So look for the card which are having the support for the YPrPb.
Re: VGA to YPbPr or HDMI question
I have looked for your query on the Internet and i found that there are some adapter which is having the ability to connect through the same so that you can enjoy it. So i am advising you to take a look on the eBay which is having the Adapter that cost around the $25 and $40. So try if you are able to pay this much amount.
Re: VGA to YPbPr or HDMI question
Hey there i will advise you to not to go for the unnecessary expenditure until and unless you are not sure about the product compatibility. It is better you ask about this compatibility query to the ATI only as they are manufacturer and they are having the better knowledge about your issue. So contact them and see how they will help you.
