How to disable automatic updates in Fedora 10?
Hello friends,
I am having this problem from the last week. I recently install Fedora 10 in my computer. From last week my computer automatically update and that I don't want. I want to prevent automatic updates in Fedora 10. Can anyone tell me how to disable automatic updates in Fedora 10? Please help me.

Hey it is very easy to disable automatic updates in Fedora 10. You have to just use PackageKit to do this. If you don't know how to do this then use following steps.
You have to just look out for PackageKit in your computer and then you have to disable it to fix this problem.

You can disable automatic updates in Fedora 10 using following steps.
First go to System option -> then go to Preferences option -> now go to System option -> Now go to Software Updates -> now in this option make changes as per your comfort.
After this restart your computer.

As per my information you must use following setting in your PackageKit application to fix this problem.
First go to System option -> now go to Preferences option -> now select Personal option -> Now go to Sessions option and then uncheck the box for "PackageKit Update Applet".
It will now stop for automatic updates in Fedora 10.

On KDE4, go to System Settings -> now go to Add and remove software -> now go to Updates option -> now go to setting option
On KDE4 you can go to System Settings -> Add and remove software -> Updates -> now go to Settings -> now make setting about update as per your comfort.
