Hello, I am having the Kindle 2 which got locked up. By making search for this, I have come to know that if I will make use of the soft reset then I will able to solve my problem. Hello, I don't think that you will able to perform the Hard Reset for your Kindle 2 by removing the Kindle 2 Back Cover. As, if you consider the difference between Kindle 2 and Kindle 1, then you will come to know that the Kindle 1 contains the paperclip on the back side by making use of which you can simply perform the hard reset.
