Hi,
I have a Linksys WRT54G2 Router connect to my Macbook pro and Samsung ML-2152W laser printer connected to Time Capsule. I can print wireless from it, but from yesterday I am not able to print. I tried to connect to the network but can not get it. Why my printer does not work with Time Capsule ???
There may be some problem with the connection, try disconnecting and connecting it again, to do this follow the below steps :
1. Unplug the AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule from the mains.
2. Turn off the printer.
3. Make sure that the USB cable is connected to the printer to the AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule.
4. Turn on the printer.
5. Connect the AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule again to the power supply.
6. Try to print.
Check the settings in AirPort Utility :
1. Open AirPort Utility, located in / Applications / Utilities.
2. Select the Time Capsule.
3. Click "Manual Setup" to continue.
4. Enter, if necessary, the password for the Time Capsule book.
5. Click in the menu bar in Printers.
6. Make sure that the Time Capsule will detect your printer.
7. Try to print.
If your problem has been not solved till no, then try resetting the printing system. Follow these steps to resolve the problem.
1. In Open System Preferences System Preferences and click Print & Fax.
2. Click while holding the ctrl key or right mouse button in the "printer" on the left side and select "Reset printing system ...".
3. ยท Click "OK".
4. Click the "+" button to add the printer again.
5. Try to print.
To print the Time Capsule USB printer that simply need to install Bonjour for Windows, Mac a protocol commonly used to detect devices on the network without having to configure anything. When you install it, you should go through the creation of the printer. If it does works properly, try to connect directly to mac otherwise please contact the printer manufacturer for more information.
