Destination folder access denied

I've been trying to uninstall Avira anti-virus in Vista Home. The uninstall program left the Avira folder in the Program Files folder and I can't delete it. I get the message: I need permission to perform this action. I've tried to set permissions with no luck. I click the check box for full control (users/desktop/users group) but it reverts to unchecked! Two other groups show up for this folder: Creator Owner and Trusted Installer. I can't change permissions for these also. The culprit seems to be the file Sweb.zip which is in one of program the subfolders, I can't change permission to full control on this file also. Any suggestions? This permissions thing is a real pain :crybaby:
