How to convert BIOS file to .ROM or .WPH extension
I was having some doubt with this BIOS file. The BIOS file is with extension .exe. So I just wanted to know how to convert this .exe file of BIOS to any other extension like .ROM or .WPH. Because then I can use PBE (Phoenix BIOS Editor) to make changes in this BIOS file. Can some suggest any solution.?

Okay but I don't think Editing in BIOS will be safe for your system. Its not a matter of converting its a matter of extracting the already existing ROM or WPH from the exe, now this is done in various ways, some of which i do not know however i was able to successfully extract mine through opening the exe with WinRaR.. its a matter of how your vendor compressed the files and which installer they used to build the installation though. So everything changes from manufacturer to manufacturer,'
Re: How to convert BIOS file to .ROM or .WPH extension
I have managed to do this by changing the samsung folder to read only and running the .exe, out of the files that I extracted I assume that it is only the wph file that is required, is this correct? or do I also need the bin file?
More suggestions please.

Okay as your manufacturer for BIOS is Samsung then just go on its website and try to download the newer version of BIOS and check if that works.
For Sony manufacturer, it does not seem to have any Boot Block key combination to access the USB
floppy and reflash using the Crisis Recovery Disk.
And will work for Sony, but you need to check for Samsung on its website.
