Re: need help wid processor and graphic card
Ya amd processor and nvidia 9400 gt 1 gb card is good normally people choose amd for gaming and animation purpose but make sure your motherboard will support it as there should be good combination to work your computer proper so check compatibility .

I think the following specification would be great for your system.
- AMD Athlon Dual Core 4000+ or above. According to me, if you will be playing games on your PC then its better to go for AMD Athlon Dual Core.
- 1 GB Ram but if you can make it to 2GB it would be great.
- Your HDD should be of 120GB.
- According to me your Graphic Card should be of NVIDIA GeForce 7900GTX 512mb, but 7900GTX is great but its too expensive, but you can go for a 7600GTX. I would suggest you to go for GTX and not for GS or GT, because GTX are Extreme Card meant for Hardcore Gamers. Besides ATI Radeon Cards are also good one, but i would not recommend it, because i have experienced overheating issue with it.

Re: need help wid processor and graphic card
Hi, for top gaming performances it's better to choice a processor with high mhz clock, so avoid quad core with low frequencies.

so, there is no time for me to wait.
can u tell me that the biostar motherboards are best or should i choose any other manufacturer boards.
Re: need help wid processor and graphic card
If you want to buy then i will suggest you to go with the AMD, I can tell you with my own experience that i am using for my system. It is good in performance and easy to install. It support the inbuilt graphic card of 512 MB which will support your animation work. Thank you
Re: need help wid processor and graphic card
You have not mentioned the Model number of your Biostar Motherboard. I personally think that going with the Biostar Motherboard is quite good since it packs quite a lot into a microATX platform; top of the line integrated graphics, PCI Express, networking, SATA and IDE hard drive support, and integrated sound card, etc. Also you are getting the 512 Mb inbuit graphics Nvidia inbuilt. So you can definitely go for this motherboard.
Re: need help wid processor and graphic card
Instead of spending separately on a graphic card you can buy a motherboard with a built in graphic card. I would suggest to buy AMD processor and a Asus motherboard. There are lot of choices on Asus Motherboard in graphic card section. Check the official Asus site for checking details of all Motherboards.
