Hi I am using Motorola Droid mobile phone which is based on android operating system. I thinking like android programs having great potential but I can not able to take it its full advantages. I am using some of the options like turning of Wi-Fi when I am seen the battery is about 30 percent, I turned off the music while I am doing work , turn off the sound when I busy in the company's meeting. Can you tell me more tips to how to use android more efficiently.
Force in closing application in Motorola Droid
If an application is hanged or freeze in the Motorola Droid the you have to close this application forcing to it.
You can close this hanged application by following the steps.
first go to the Home screen then press the menu button
Now then select the Tap settings.
Now go to the Applications Tap and then Manage application tap.
Now tap the application that you have to close.
If that application are not listed then press the menu button again and then select Filter and in Filter select All.
Now scroll down the list and tap on the force stop.
Do you hav error in installing application in Droid.
Since when I update OS 2.1 in my Motorola Droid, my gallery application does not work it displays an error.
Click and keep hold the Gallery icon on the home screen.
Now drag this icon into the trash .
Then click on the slider of application.
Now click and keep holding gallery.
And last drag the that icon on the home screen.
You can check the Draining battery
Its battery is Draining when I sit down idle overnight. There is one utility which tell me that where is the battery current is being used.
Click on the main screen and then press the menu.
Now click on the settings option.
Scroll down that list to bottom and click on the About phone.
Now click on the Battery use.
In case NFS game was running last night and all the battery was suck by that game.
Then you go to application info where you can forced to stop the application
Camera button displays a message box instead of camera
When i pressed the camera button it displays the the message box but not opening the camera.
And I discovered that this problem is caused by the third party SMS messaging app. When install an application like Handcent or ChompSMSit sets on the camera button.
To disable this, follow these instruction
First Open the Handcent, ChompSMS or other app which you had install.
Now press the menu.
And then click on the setting option.
Scroll down the list and do uncheck to Quick Compose
You ca tell the android, forget that networks which you never use.
My phone some time try to connect to other networks which do not belongs to me.
First from the main press menu
And then go to setting
Now select the wire less & networks
Now click on the Wi-Fi settings.
And then press and hold the button on the name of the wireless network which you want to forget by mobile phone
Ans last click on the forget network.
You can use this option when you think it is with unsecured wireless networks.
