Hi from last 1 month my system is infected by Win32.Worm.Rimecud.C virus. I am using windows vista professional edition on my system with AVG antivirus. I try to remove so many times but only it detects prompt for delete when I try to delete it performs action but cannot able to delete. This virus slowing down my computer and tells me that there is a problem in registry. Can you tell me how to remove it.
You can prevent this following instruction.
>> Keep your firewall enable.
>> Update your software.
>> Update antivirus database.
>> For downloading attachments and transferring file use caution.
>> While clicking on the links use caution.
>> Be aware of social engineering attacks.
It spreads with fixed and removable devicec.
It creates file autorun.inf to run a copy automatically.
It creates the following files.
B:\vshost.exe - copy of itself
B:\autorun.inf - autorun file used to execute the worm's copy
It copies of worms it acts as a removable drive and creates a file autorun.inf.
RECYCLER\autorun.exe
autorun.inf
It also spreads via instant messenger application.

Get the good genuine antivirus and keep it update daily. And scan it with updated database. It will may detect and delete your Win32.Worm.Rimecud.C virus. Then also you ths is not removing from your computer then restore your compter. You restore your computer and go to date which you want. For restore do the following steps.
Click on the start button.
Then go to programs.
Now Accessories and then system tools.
And last Select System Restore.
For removing Win32.Worm.Rimecud.C virus do the following steps.
Please disable the System restore temporarily.
The definition of the marl ware kindly update.
Restart your computer in safe mode.
Try to delete temp files of Internet Explorer because few Win32.Worm.Rimecud.C may exist here.
Download malwarebytes on your system.
Install this application by double clicking
Go with the prompts
Install as default
Click at the finish button.
Scan the system.
After the scanning is over then check the results.
Delete the threats.
And reboot your system.
