Internet connection established but Network icon displays incorrect

Hello. This is a kind of issue that am currently facing with the network icon of my internet. The problem is that my connection to internet is stable that is Internet connection is established but the network icon displays incorrect. It shows that you have limited or no connectivity. I use windows 7 as my operating system. Please help for the thing so that I can make the necessary changes in order to make it work.

The problem that your network drive displays wrongly even though your connection is been established may be due to the IP address conflict. You need to uninstall the network card drivers and then re-install the drivers again. This should help you out in order to make the things to work in better way. This will enable your display icon of the network card to function properly.

There is another alternative for your problem that is your network display shows incorrect prompt. The steps are as follows:

1) Go to the start option and click on it.
2) Type NCPA.CPL in the command prompt option by typing cmd in Run command.

4) Right click on the connection for your local connection.

6) Then Click to select the IP version 4. Click on properties again.
7) Assign the IP address, Dns server and default gateway with subnet mask parameters properly.
