Hi, I am using Magic Jack to work to desktop computer. Previously on my computer windows vista were install and magic jack was working well in it. But recently I changed my operating system with latest operating system windows seven, and now I am facing problem in installing magic jack in windows 7. During the time of installing it shows message format the drive. Can any one help me.
Yes, I have loaded magic jack in windows 7 and its works fine.
To install it wants two things.
1. Copy the mjusbsp folder from a working install on XP or Vista to the
C:\Users\UserName\appdata\Roaming folder in Windows 7.
2. Start it the no splash way to make it to load
“C:\Users\UserName\appdata\Roaming\mjusbsp\magicjack.exe” /scf _magicJackPersonalDataRoot X:\magicJack
At the time of installing magic jack, do right click on the exe file and select the "Troubleshoot Compatibility". A window showing that Windows is testing the software. After completion it shows "Try recommended settings". Click on this settings that you will use. Click the "Start the program". Follow the on going intructions. This will helps you for software working
As you said that you have switched from vista to windows seven. So please verify that you are using windows 7 is genuine. Because if get the pirated software, in that many files are corrupted which affect your performance of your program, and then you will have face problem like this and many more. Or the other is please check your system with good anti virus is free from virus.
