Bluetooth Headphones are not detected on Windows 7
I have recently bought a new Laptop to use for study while i am away from the home. I am using windows 7 on this laptop. I want to know that whether it is possible to redirect the sound output directly by Blue tooth Headphones or not. Though my laptop has a headphone jack on the front side of my cpu cabin, Still sometime I would like to use Blue tooth connectivity for the headphones as i have blue tooth headphones. I want to know that does it require a different driver to use the same.
Re: Bluetooth Headphones are not detected on Windows 7
Actually the headphones you are talking about is bit shady to me because you have not mentioned the model number of that bluetooth. Generally it does not require any special drivers to be installed. But still some model of bluetooth headphones do need drivers for them specially. Try to connect your headphones to the laptop and if it has the correct audio driver to run that device then it will definitely recognize your audio device automatically as soon as you insert your bluetooth headphones.

There might have some sort of settings has to be done on your laptop to detect your Bluetooth Headphones automatically. For this to happen all the time you can set bluetooth as your default audio device. To do this, Go to the Control Panel and open Sound and Audio Devices. There you will find Audio (Tab), Select for bluetooth device in the Default Device. After doing this, connect your bluetooth headphone to the laptop and make sure that your bluetooth device has enough battery to catch the bluetooth signals.

First of all i would like to ask you about which laptop you are using. Because the thing is that, Your laptop should be having built in bluetooth to recognize your bluetooth device which you connect to it. Any way if it has built in bluetooth already. Then you must be having the perfect driver according to your device. After doing all this here you have some steps to do if you have audio driver and do not have inbuilt bluetooth. Then connect your headphones and your windows will automatically find the driver and install it. Then type Bluetooth in the Run search bar of the start menu. Then click on the Add a Bluetooth device but make sure that your device is switched on. By doing this your device will added and if it ask for any passcodes then type " 0000 " .Then go to Control panel > Hardware and Sound > Device and Printer > Bluetooth Devices and Make be sure about choosing the Bluetooth headphone for playback.
