Hello friends, I am trying to install Windows 7 RC by making up-gradation to my existing Windows xp operating system. So, first I download the package from microsft site about the Windows 7 RC, then Created DVD of it. But while installation it is giving me error of
"windows can not create required installation folder" Error code: 0x8007000D
What is the reason behind this error?
Hi ramsun, the error you are getting is quiet common error. The error code which you are getting is told that the initial download may have been corrupted, and you may have to download the package again. Simple. So, When you download the whole package again, just make sure that you burn the Windows 7 RC1 ISO image correctly. So, it wont give you any error regarding it. So, I think you can solve your problem now, without any problem.
Hi, I have searched on internet and found that the error code 0x8007000D was got by the user in case he download the corrupted package or any software and then if he wanted to install that particular download then the system show this type of error. So, the single solution about this problem is to again download the whole package and then try to install again that particular package.
Hi, the error code 0x8007000D is particularly occur if you don't get the whole package of any software or something and then if you are installing that particular software. So, just make sure that you have downloaded the full software package and then try to install that particular software. So, make use of full package and then by burning it to DVD you will able to load the operating system of windows 7 RC.
