Need advice for choosing gamer mouse and headset 5.1
Here is the specifications:
- mouse games
- Sliding comfort
- responsive buttons
- Quick Sensor 2000 dpi min
- optional: Programmable buttons
The above is the configuration that I need for my gaming mouse. And what about the headset 5.1 Roccat Kave Solid 5.1? This is better than the option 5.1 x-Fi stereo headphones? Is there any better gaming mouse and 5.1 headset for me?
Re: Need advice for choosing gamer mouse and headset 5.1
I will suggest you look towards the Razer brand. I have Razer's mouse, keyboard and headphones. For mouse I would suggest Razer Imperator. I tested the headset upscale a buddy: It is simply terrible in 5.1. Mine did not but it is super comfortable.
Razer Imperator Overview
The Razer Imperator is not just a mere mouse, it is an extension of your hands. Its right-handed ergonomic form factor with a contoured thumb grip delivers comfort and a better fit for gaming, whether you use a palm or fingertip grip. Be empowered to take on foes and fatigue alike - for longer gaming sessions without strain.
When every aspect of your game matters, customize your game play with the unique adjustable side buttons, giving you optimum reach for easier access to mission critical keys and macros.
Re: Need advice for choosing gamer mouse and headset 5.1
I have Razer Barracuda 5.1, super fun to play, that's for sure (but better a sound card optimized for games to have good effects for 3D FPS particular style Creative X-FI Extreme Gamer). It is also very comfortable even after several hours of play
Obviously, it is not as faithful as true 5.1 speaker positioning level feelings, but it is different from conventional headphones.
Re: Need advice for choosing gamer mouse and headset 5.1
Personally I have the headset Roccat Kave in 5.1 sound, I'm not disappointed, a very good quality 5.1 audio, headphones very comfortable even after several hours.
Otherwise standard mouse I have a Roccat Kone, which also suits me very well. Many setting a good grip (quite similar to MX500 level design / ownership).
And I hesitate to take the keyboard from the same brand, but wait a little longer as it seems to pose few problems still.

Materially speaking, I am loyal to high-end Logitech, which has never disappointed. With Logitech G500 Mouse, you can shift from pixel-precise targeting (200 dpi) to lightning-fast maneuvers (up to 5700 dpi) in an instant. It has 10 programmable buttons. You can even save your settings on the mouse itself. After speaking in software, I never could bear their drivers.
