No audio in flash player - Firefox
Hi,
I have recently installed the latest version of firefox i:e Firefox 3 after formatting my pc. When I got to sites like YouTube, Vimeo ... I am able to see video but there is no audio in flash player. Else everything works perfect, for example of Google Chorme, opera. The problem is just related to Firefox.
Re: No audio in flash player - Firefox
YouTube and Vimeo both use with the Firefox Flash plugin to integrate its audio content that contains, so start there. First download the Flash plugin using the uninstaller with Firefox and the latest installation. Then close Firefox, run the uninstaller, then reintall it again.
Re: No audio in flash player - Firefox
First, confirm that the default device for sound playback is correct.
1. Select Start> Control Panel or Start> Settings> Control Panel.
2. Select Sounds and Audio Devices.
3. Confirm that the default device matches the audio hardware installed.
Re: No audio in flash player - Firefox
I have guess that the Problem is with the new Adobe Flash player. Try the following steps to resolve your issue :
- Go Start-> Run
- Type Regedit
- Open the following folders:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-> SOFTWARE-> Microsoft-> Windows NT-> Drivers32
- In the toolbar at the top, select Edit Value-> New string
- Name that wavemapper
- Right click on wavemapper-> Modify
- Under Value-> enter msacm32.drv
