cannot login into Windows Messenger 9

I was using an Widows Messenger 8.5. Now, I upgraded it to Windows Messenger 9. When I try to login, after entering my username and password, the login screen remains as it is. Nothing happens - no error screen nothing. I cannot login into this newer version.It is not allowing to install the older versions also. Please suggest a solution

There is a very simple solution. Simply go on ebuddy.com and directly log on to your msn account. from there you can view your contact list and talk to your friends......

Follow the following steps and everything will be OK:

1. Click on START, then go to RUN option and type appwiz.cpl and then press ENTER.
   
   
2. There is a list of Current installed programs, find and select Windows Live Essentials and then click on Change/Remove. Now uninstall it and download latest version of Windows Live Messenger from here
