Error Locating Object Handler while Downloading a .pdf File

Hi,

I am trying to download a pdf file but I am getting error, Error Locating Object Handler. I am using Internet explorer as my browser and I have windows xp as my operating system. I don't know what to do ???

The URL of the PDF generated URL (usually a servlet) maybe too long. I had the problem, my url was only 468 characters long and not work, therefore reduced to around 120 by the change of name and / or elimination of parameters will solve your problem

First make sure you are downloading software using upgrade IE version :

1. Right click on the pdf file which you want to download U
2. A dialog box will appear and ask you the option to select 'Save Target As...'.
3. A new box will appear that gives you the opportunity to save the file to your desktop. Click save.
4. After the pdf has been downloaded, double click the icon that looks like a little computer to install the program.

To resolve Error Locating Object , perform the following steps:

1. Install the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader software from the following Adobe.

2. Install the latest Netscape Communicator software from the following Netscape Web site:

3. Verify that the Nppdf32.dll file is in the following folders:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 4.0\Reader\Browser
