I am running Windows XP as my operating system and had put an image for an album so that it gets displayed when i select thumbnail option. But today when i try to do with new folder i was not able to view any thumbnail for the folder. I have selected show hidden folders checked on, but the image still isn't visible. At the same time when I check out the properties for the image, the Hidden check box is checked, but it's grayed out so I can't unhide it. Any help would be appreciated.
If your hidden Check box is Grayed Out then you can enable it through system file for that you need to click on start then type CMD in run option and press enter. Now Command prompt window would get open over here type attrib -s -h [drive] [path] [filename] this will first remove the system attribute and then the hidden attribute and restart your system for changes to get effected.
Thanks for replying me i have try to follow the steps which you have mention above that too didn't helped me a lot, does anyone know any other alternative solution for it.
I think your computer is being infected by virus because of which your Hidden Checkbox Grayed Out try to install AVG antivirus and have full scan of your system after scanning gets completed try to reboot your system and then check it out now your Hidden Checkbox would not be Grayed Out, if it is then you have to install a fresh copy of Windows XP on your computer.
