I'm running Windows Xp as my operating system. Recently i had reloaded both Internet Explorer as well as Mozilla Firefox web browser to its newest version. But when i try to open Facebook is says that i'm using an incompatible browser. Can any body tell me that why i'm getting an error message using an incompatible browser while opening Facebook? Any one have any idea about it? Kindly help me out to get rid of the above issue.
The browser's security and/or Privacy settings are incompatible. For that you just need to clear the cookies and browsing history and then need to restart your Internet Explorer.
Your Microsoft Internet Explorer is currently "Cookies" disabled. In order to attend this event, this option must be enabled." The cause of the problem may be in your Firefox "User Agent" string, that identifies your browser type to websites.
I think you should try to some other browser such as Opera on your pc and then need to check out whether you still have the same issue on that too. Common causes of this problem are installing Megaupload Toolbar extension or Creative ZENCast plugin and then updating Firefox. Try to reset your user agent. It was dummy virus .. or something :blink: . I use "combofix"(google it) and my problem solved.
