4 Hard drives SATA Raid 0
Just trying to establish how to install 4 hard drives on a new computer build, I want to use a 160GB for my system programmes, a 250GB for my files and saved items and then use 2 X 1.5TB for Premiere pro video editing.
I already have the two smaller drives so seems right to use them, but will be buying the two large drives.
My question is can I leave the 2 smaller drive alone and use Raid 0 on the 2 large drives? or will all the drives be seen as raid 0?
Sorry if I have not explained well but some things just beat me no matter how many times I read about it.
Thanks in advance and hope somebody can help with my first post.
Re: 4 Hard drives SATA Raid 0
Yeah, All you need to do is, select the disks which you need to add to Raid 0 from your Raid tool or BIOS raid tool, whichever you use, and leave the other disks, untouched... :thumbup1:
