plextor px810sa iso file burning problem and on Windows 7

Hi, I installed windows 7 version and I was previously on windows vista sp2. Before any problem with vista since I've been on windows 7, it is impossible to burn an iso file, or either data, or erasing a cd / dvd rw. All operations will end in failure.
I tried 4 different burning software:
Ashampoo Burning Studio 9.12
BurnAware Free 2.4
InfraRecorder 0.5
CDBurnerXP Pro 4.2.5.1541

Nothing is working, I messed up a dozen cd / dvds ...

Any idea? I'm sure it's a software issue since it worked before ... Thanks for any help.

A firmware update should resolve your issue. Download Plextor PX-810SA Firmware v 1.01. The firmware that is given is for Windows XP OS but should work for Windows 7 as well. If not then try reverting to Windows XP, sorry.

I cannot guess what is wrong or why wouldnt the plextor px810sa burn cds/ dvds on Windows 7, could it be that it is not supported by windows 7 or maybe you can try some other softwares like imgburn. ImgBurn is a (free) software that specializes in handling CD/DVD images in any form. Download ImgBurn 2.5.0.0 Burning Software and give it a try. Let us know the results.

T.J. is correct, you need to install the latest firmware for your writer? Have you checked plextor site for Windows 7 drivers? If it is not available then try to update firmware from the below link.
