Recently i have bought a new LG EnV2 phone. On my pc i'm running Windows Xp as my operating system. Now the problem is that when i try to connect it to my computer with a USB cord, mu system doesn't recognize my phone as a portable storage device. I had even downloaded the driver software on my pc, but the same issue continues on my pc. can any body tell me that why i'm having problem with my LG EnV2 mobile phone? Does any body knows about it? Kindly help me out to get rid of the above issue.
A new phone is an unused device so it's hard to say whether or not it will have defects until it's used. First of all, your pocket dialing issue can be solved with a software upgrade. Make sure you're running v06.
Might be a setting or something that's screwing up. The enV2 isn't a bad phone, although there are a few defects that have occurred since the software update, but only with some of the phones.
If indeed there are repeated issues following that device contact a form of management on the VZW side, to see if there is a better option so you have a functioning phone with their network. According to me you should take it back to the store, and they will most likely give you a new one for free.
