Bootmgr missing on dual boot
Hey guys. Today i'm in desperate need of help. I have a dual boot computer. I know there are many question on the same but none helps me. I have two seperate hard disks for windows Vista and Ubuntu 9.04. After i installed Windows Vist, i added its boot entry in grub from ubuntu and grub shows its entry in the boot option. Now when i select Windows Vista, it tells me bootmgr is missing. How do i solve the Bootmgr missing on dual boot setup with separate hard disks? Please help... :crybaby:
Re: Bootmgr missing on dual boot
Bootmgr missing indicates that the Windows Vista bootloader is damaged or corrupt. Can you boot Windows Vista after ubuntu's hard disk is disconnected? Try it out first and check, if that works. Do post back...

Ok, here is what to do, detach Ubuntu's hard disk, and boot from Windows Vista's DVD. Now from repairs searc for repairing boot option. Once done, reboot and load form windows vista and then shutdown the computer. Now attach the ubuntu disk and from grub boot loader, boot into Vista. All the best! :thumbup1:
