I want to setup Radius server on SBS 2008 and am searching for a guide on how to do that. I should be able to setup this for all wireless clients to use and I want to do it the simplest way possible. I have also bout and read from the Windows Small Business Server 2008 Administrators Companion but it doesnt say anything on WPA2 Enterprise. Can anyone please help? Thanks.
There is a specific walkthrough for wireless on Server 2008. Eitherways, Radius is server by the NPS role in 2008 that replaces the old IAS server from 2003. The NPS console has a wireless 802.1X wizard to make setting up without any problems. And the full document is on the technet website that you can find.
Is there way to set up a RADIUS server to authenticate against the AD database (username/password) without having the client computer part of the AD?
