Re: How to use Opera Mini and other java application with BPL WAP?
The simplest Solution is to call BPL Customer Care and ask them to send you the WAP settings. The personal settings in java phones don't allow us to configure proxy settings for an access point. Java application need a valid access point to use the WAP connection. BPL uses proxy which is not possible to configure manually for access point. You can however configure proxy for default web browsers. Hope this helps... :thumbup1:
Re: How to use Opera Mini and other java application with BPL WAP?
I know i will not get the settings from BPL. The problem is, whenever i try to call the customer care, either the number will be busy, or no one picks up the call. Its just a waste of time and battery. Once i tried to call them about a year back, they told me that there is some system problem you have to configure the settings manually. The last time i had called them was a month ago and that time too i got the same reply. I think they just don't want to let us use applications with their WAP settings. Any other way to get those settings? Please help.
