I even tried to manually install drivers but still nothing. So can anyone help me how to install the drivers?

Which version of NVIDIA driver are you using? If you are using 190.16 beta driver then I think that is the compatibility issue. I haven't successfully been able to install anything over the 180.44 driver. Also which card are you having?

Its simple, get Synaptic and install on your computer. Synaptic is a graphical package management program and features the apt-get command line utility with a GUI front-end based on Gtk+. Simply go to Synaptic Package Manager and search for NVIDIA 180 driver. Once found, download it and install it from there.

4. Click on Apply Changes.
5. Go to System - Administration - Hardware Drivers

7. Reboot your computer for changes to take effect.
8. Now enable the desktop effects by going to System - Preferences - Appearance and select Normal on the Visual Effects tab.
