Whilst trying to do a recovery of files a long long list of files popped up and it said that it was found on my C:\ and was named UNNAMED_File. (pst i can view those files) Well, i tried to access this and it keeps saying its invalid. How do i get into this file firstly, and secondly, its huge, and i need to clean it up so how do i do this. Can you be more clear with your query? which recovery application you using? which file type you trying to recover?
that File might be corrupted , it is Difficult to recover , The PST may be corrupt. you need to Repair Damaged Outlook PST File , you can use Outlook Recovery Toolbox
Outlook Recovery Toolbox(download) is a software product for restoring destroyed or damaged data files of Microsoft Outlook mail client included into the Microsoft Office package. Outlook stores its data in PST or OST files; these files contain messages, contacts, tasks, notes, appointments, and journals. Most of them are photographs that i was trying to recover as i lost all the data on my disks so i downloaded a data recovery program and it showed all pics etc...
If you can see your pictures from the data recovery software, why don't you recover it using the same software? :cool:Quote:
