Acer 5000 laptop reboot issue
I'm having a Acer 5000 laptop on which i'm running Windows Xp as my operating system. From last few days whenever i try to turn on my laptop it get re-boot after every 20 mins and then flashes the blue screen and again gets re-boot automatically. Can any body tell me that why does my Acer 5000 laptop keeps on rebooting? What i need to do in order to get rid of the above issue? Kindly provide me the correct solution for the above issue.
Re: Acer 5000 laptop reboot issue
Usually a load error is very specific and can be corrected in BIOS. For that you need to go into BIOS settings and see boot sequence and need to make sure also HDD is not disabled.
Re: Acer 5000 laptop reboot issue
Have you tried this: Press <Alt> + <F10> to open the Acer eRecovery Management. I would try to restore to a point earlier than this happening. That thumb drive may well be infected. If restore does not help it is probably best to take out and have someone who knows search for the problem.
Re: Acer 5000 laptop reboot issue
If you have done this already, try using an XP install CD or any bootable CD. To resolve this issue, you have to boot the system to Safe Mode and remove the Acer Empowering Technology suite. After removing this suite, you should be able to boot the system normally and then continue removing the Acer software that remains.
