I'm having a Abit AV8 Motherboard. The problem is that when i reboot my pc the POST LED says "27" right now, while in the manual its says post code 27 is "Initialize INT 09 Buffer". I even get another code "69" while the manual says that it "Turn on L2 Cache" So, can anybody tell me that what i need to do in order to get rid of Abit AV8 motherboard error codes? Does any body have any idea on the above issue? Kindly help me out o resolve the above issue.
The problem you are having is a compatibility issue with the power supply. For that have you tried loading the optimized settings for your motherboard in the BIOS?
If your system does not post and boot like it should. Then it might be possibility of having a defective memory, or memory that is not compatible with the AV8. For that you should try to clear your CMOS.
In order to get rid of the above issue, you need to open the BIOS and then need to press F7 key. Then it will say "Load optimized defaults? y/n" Then you need to say Y. After that you need to press F10 key . It will say "Save to CMOS and exit? y/n". Say yes and afterwards you need to just reboot your system.
