hi
i wanted to sell my laptop but i am having lots of personal data on it and i want to to delete it all by any way so that no one can unable to retrieve it so does any one knows such proper way to wipe out harddisk so i can clean up safely and sell laptop without any problem ?

If you have windows bootable disk you can erasing hard disk by using formatting option so just boot with disk and format your hard disk to another format of partition than you currently have like if you have fat then go for ntfs also use complet format not quick format.
